Willmott Dixon have been appointed as Main Contractor to work on Brooke Med Extra Care Housing project by Brighton and Hove City Council for a 12 million contract. The project is to build 45 extra care apartments for people over the age of 55.
The scheme will be built on a former council owned sheltered housing scheme which will be demolished to make way for people primarily targeted at people with low to moderate dementia. New communal spaces, landscaping, cycle, and scooter parking for residents as well as new facilities for the community such as café, meeting rooms etc. This will be the first scheme of its kind for Brighton and Hove City Council.
As a supply chain partner with Willmott Dixon, John Watson Doors will collaborate with NHE ltd to supply 311 paint grade doorsets some with vision panels.
